Talks for Schools, Organisations and Businesses

Did you know:

  • Bees are vital to our survival.

  • One third of our food is pollinated by bees.

  • We have lost more than 40% of insects worldwide in the last decade.

  • We have lost 46% of bees worldwide in the last decade.

It has never been more important that everyone understands the vital role that pollinators play – and what we can all do to help slow their decline and ensure their survival. We believe that the more information people have about the role of pollinators the better decisions we can make about our future.

GBKA is eager to visit schools and adult groups such as Gardening Groups, WI’s, U3a groups and businesses to spread the word about the importance of honeybees and other pollinators. We tailor the talk to the audience, suitable for ages 4 -100 years.

We have a team of enthusiastic presenters who will visit you, bringing equipment with them, to give you an insight into these remarkable creatures and how you can help.

If we all do a little - it will add up to a lot!

If you are interested in having a talk, contact: info@guildfordbeekeepers.org.uk.  We make no charge for talks although donations are always welcome.  We can also bring honey for sale – produced at our Bramley Training Apiary.
